Visit Scotland were encouraging the Scottish public to get out and explore there local and surrounding area. As foreign holidays became increasingly unlikely, staycations and day trips was the answer. To compliment the spot campaign STVC were brought into develop channel sponsorship and (a first) integrated channel idents.
We created a ‘day in life’ style creative thread; taking viewers through an action packed day from morning ’til night. We focused on food, outdoor activities, city breaks and golf. The channel idents were a first and truly integrated the campaign into the DNA of the STV main channel. We used Visit Scotland footage to replace our own and seamlessly placed it into the schedule.
Further to this we shot some testimonial shorts for social.We travelled around Scotland to speak with the companies and individuals who’s livelihood depends on the tourism industry. They told us about new safety measures that had been brought in as well as the eagerness to welcome Scots back.
It’s always great to help promote your own backyard, and in times like these it’s never been more important. Get out there (safely) and enjoy our beautiful country.
