Glasgow City Council wanted to make the public aware of new pedestrianized areas around the city to make cycling and walking safer. We felt the simplest and most accessible way to communicate these changes would be through a bright, engaging animation. Collaborating with some great talent on the project, we commissioned an illustrator to create a series of assets which were then brought to life by our animator .
The animation style allowed us to be flexible, clear, inclusive and direct. The campaign has proved to be so effective that it has had several updates and extensions already as the client’s messaging has evolved. As part of the deliverables we adapted the campaign for print, digital OOH and even Nextbikes!
